eParkGuide's mission is to create and make accessible a database of National Parks around the world for the enjoyment of those visiting the parks as well a means to manage and educate about National Parks and foster a better understanding of parks and public lands. To have in place real time location-based services (LBS) for Ecotourism enabling National Park Communities and content providers to use state-of-the-art mobile platform technologies to uniquely assist the broader National Park World Community with relevant location based information much the same way Google Maps is used today, globally. Local specific information allowing park visitors to be informed providing insightful information on each park's characteristics: flora and fauna. Not only can eParkGuide be a powerful resource of information for the visitors, as it can help the park, itself, to educate and bring awareness to parklands and thus aid to the preservation of each park. It can be further used as a means to sensibly make a parks' information rewarding for the visitors, as well as be a used as a means to educate and manage the interactions of visitors within parks, worldwide.
